These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and REVA Digital LLC, a Texas limited liability company located in Pilot Point, Texas 76258 USA ("we," "us," "our"), governing your use of the Activate The Nation mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. These Terms contain an arbitration agreement and class-action waiver — please read them carefully.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA or UK) to use the Service. You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account, you agree to provide accurate information, and you will notify us promptly at hello@activatethenation.com of any unauthorized use.
The Service
The Service connects believers for evangelism and discipleship: groups and gatherings, direct and group messages, events and RSVPs, a resource library, a private testimony tool, and connect codes that link a new believer with the person who reached them. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Subject to these Terms we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial ministry use.
Your content
You retain all rights in the messages, testimony, photos, videos, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service, and to deliver it to the audience the feature defines. That license ends for a piece of content when you delete it, except for copies already delivered to others and backups held for a reasonable rolling period.
Audiences are fixed by the feature, and the app never widens them: a direct message is visible to that conversation's participants; a group thread to that group's accepted members; your profile card to people you connect with; your testimony to you alone. A group's meeting address is shown only to accepted members — sharing another member's address outside the group is a violation of these Terms.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to it.
Acceptable use
- No harassment, hate, threats, or sexualized content.
- No spam, scams, commercial solicitation, or impersonation.
- No collecting other users' personal information, or sharing a private meeting address outside its group.
- No unlawful content or use, and no interfering with, probing, or reverse-engineering the Service.
- One personal account per person unless we authorize otherwise.
Group leaders may set additional expectations for their groups; none override these Terms. You can block or report any user or message in the app. We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
Giving
The app sells nothing and processes no payments. Giving happens on our website in your browser, handled by a third-party payment processor under its own terms; donations are not purchases of app functionality.
Third-party content
Scripture text in the Service is drawn from public-domain and openly licensed editions and is provided for study and encouragement. The Service links to third-party sites and apps (including the REVA Bible app); their terms govern what happens there.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, risk to other users, or discontinuation of the Service. Sections that by their nature survive termination survive it.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The Service supports ministry; it is not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice, and in-person meetings arranged through it are at the participants' own judgment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of USD 50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Arbitration and class-action waiver
Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, seated in Texas, and you and we each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing hello@activatethenation.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Small-claims actions and claims for injunctive relief for infringement remain available to both parties.
General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stands. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Contact: hello@activatethenation.com.
