Community Guidelines

Effective August 17, 2026

Activate The Nation exists to call believers back to their first love and send them out — love God, love people, make disciples. Every group, message, and gathering in the app carries that heart. These guidelines describe the conduct we expect and enforce.

What we expect

  • Speak to build up. Encourage, pray for, and walk with people — including people who disagree with you.
  • Honor privacy. What is shared in a group stays in the group; a meeting address is never shared outside it.
  • Be who you say you are. Real name or a consistent identity — never someone else's.

Never allowed

  • Harassment, bullying, hate, or threats of any kind.
  • Sexualized content or unwanted advances.
  • Spam, scams, fundraising solicitations, or commercial promotion.
  • Impersonation of any person or organization.
  • Collecting or exposing another person's private information.
  • Anything unlawful.

Meeting in person

Groups gather in the real world. Meet in public places when a group is new to you, bring someone when you can, and let a leader know if anything in a gathering felt unsafe. Leaders: the meeting address you enter is shown only to members you have accepted — accept people you have actually talked with.

Reporting and enforcement

Every message and profile can be reported from inside the app, and any user can be blocked — blocking stops all contact both ways. Reports are reviewed by our team. Depending on severity we remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts, without prior notice where safety requires it. To appeal a decision, email hello@activatethenation.com.
