The Great Commission is for everyone, and so is this app. We want every believer — regardless of ability — to be able to find a gathering, join a group, and be discipled through Activate The Nation, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a checkbox.
What we do today
- The app supports the system screen readers — VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android — with labeled controls and semantic navigation.
- Text respects your system size preference across the range the layouts can honor.
- Color is never the only carrier of meaning, and the palette is chosen for contrast on its dark ground.
- This website uses semantic headings, alt text, and keyboard-reachable navigation, working toward WCAG 2.1 AA.
Known limits
Some media shared by the community (photos, videos) may arrive without captions or descriptions, and very large text sizes are clamped where a layout would otherwise break. We are improving both.

If anything in the app or on this site is hard to use with assistive technology, email hello@activatethenation.com with "Accessibility" in the subject. A person reads these, and reported barriers are prioritized.
